21 June 2017, Philippines – FWD Life Philippines, the country’s most exciting insurance brand, proudly supports the Fit Filipino (FitFil) Movement’s National Weight Loss Challenge. The challenge, spearheaded by fitness coaches Jim and Toni Saret (“Biggest Loser Philippines Season 2”), aims to get the country moving in the name of health and wellness, with the goal of collectively losing 1 million pounds during the campaign period of June 6 to December 5, 2017.

Live to Move fitness party slated on June 24
FWD is launching the Live to Move health and wellness program with a fun and energy-packed fitness party on June 24 at Central Park, SM by the Bay, Mall of Asia. Along with some of the country’s top fitness coaches, Jim and Toni Saret will be leading the workout program centered around the four-minute metabolic fitness (metafit) routine, the FWD Motion. The program starts at 5pm, and event registration is free.
“We invite everyone to join us as we continue spreading the word about the FitFil National Weight Loss Challenge with FWD’s Live to Move fitness party on June 24,” Jim Saret said. “We guarantee it will be a fun-filled and different experience, with various activities such as zumba, hip-hop, TRX, kickboxing, and cardio, among others.”
The FitFil National Weight Loss Challenge is supported by the country’s premier medical organizations led by the Philippine Medical Association (PMA), the country’s umbrella organization for medical practitioners, as well as Philippine Heart Association (PHA), Food & Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI), Nutritionist-Dietitians' Association of the Philippines (NDAP), and Philippine Nurses Association (PNA). The Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), various universities, local government units (LGUs), fitness clubs, and numerous corporations have likewise pledged their support to the challenge.
