Charity comes in three

FWD Life Insurance Corp. (FWD Insurance), part of pan-Asian FWD Group, recently launched three corporate social responsibility initiatives intended to help healthcare frontliners, farmers and informal workers affected by the coronavirus disease pandemic, as well as cancer patients.

“We are living in extraordinary times and at FWD, we’d like to step up for our brothers and sisters in need,” said Li Hao Zhuang, FWD Insurance president and chief executive officer. “The spirit of bayanihan is alive amidst the evolving COVID-19 situation and we are inspired to care and be of service by supporting our partner organizations and reaching out to communities in need.” In April 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic grew, FWD Insurance launched its charity drive to aid healthcare frontline workers of St. Luke’s Medical Center Foundation.
