Experience the magic hour at the Rizal Monument
You would regularly see professional basketball players eating in the two Snackaroo branches in Quezon City due to its proximity to Araneta Center. You can either order a porterhouse or a T-bone for just PhP150.00. All steaks are served well done, with gravy and rice, so do keep this in mind if you prefer medium or rare steaks. Make sure to order before 8:00 PM because stocks run out fast.

Porterhouse with sides at Raps Steak and Cakes
Atenistas and La Sallistas may be hardcourt adversaries but both teams would agree that one of the best bang for your buck steaks in the metro would be Rap Steaks and Cakes. It used to be a canteen-style establishment in Taft and Katipunan but now, they have several new branches with better ambiance. The porterhouse steak (240 grams) is at PhP190 with rice and veggies. But if you’re feeling extra hungry, you can order a larger piece for PhP225.

Buy your meat frozen and have it cooked at Meat Depot
If you’re living in the south of the metro and have a big meat craving, you don’t need to do a steak run to Quezon City. There’s Meat Depot on Aguirre Street in Parañaque. Meat Depot is actually a meat shop where you can order different cuts of meat. Just like your typical butchers, you pay depending on the weight of the meat you order. But unlike other meat shops, you can have them cooked in the spot for an additional fee of PhP100. With their tagline “Better Meat + Lower Price” you can definitely get steaks here below PhP300.

Mad Mark’s Signature Steak
Mad Mark’s was one of the restaurants that put Kapitolyo on the foodie map. Now, it has Makati, BGC, and Quezon City branches. For just PhP315, you can have USDA-grade beef with two sides plus they offer a variety of sauces to pair with your meat. After your sumptuous dinner, don’t forget to order a scoop of Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream.
