Out of the Box Ways to Say I Love You Without Words

Sometimes, you have to go out of your way to let your partner know how you feel. While saying “I love you” is the standard, make it more special by showing them how much you love them. Here are different ways you can go beyond words.

Some people express their feelings better than others. Sometimes, it’s not always easy to say “I love you.” You might feel it, but you don’t know how to say it. Because once you say those three words, you can’t take it back—at least not for a while, not without hurting someone. If you’re looking for ways to say “I love you” without words, here are a few ideas.

1Team Up with Your Pets

Animals make the most adorable cohorts. Enlist your pet dog or cat to help you say “I love you.” Let your dog deliver a rose to your lady. Tie a balloon or a heart pillow around your cat. Your pet is the ideal messenger to help you declare your feelings.

2Construct an Origami Heart

This is guaranteed to make your bae’s heart melt. Even if the origami heart is not perfect, your partner will see how much effort you put into it. There are lots of online origami heart tutorials to get you started. If you can swing it, make lots of origami hearts and present it in a box or scatter it around the room.

3Make a Soundtrack

If your partner gushes over the scene of John Cusack standing outside his girlfriend’s house with a boombox, then this is a must-do. The ‘90s are back with a vengeance, and a mixtape is as ‘90s as you can get. A playlist is good, but you’ll be even more impressive if you make an actual old-fashioned mixtape. Fill it with songs that mean a lot to the two of you. This may very well be the soundtrack to your lives. Plus points if you can unearth an old Walkman or cassette player to save him/her the trouble of finding one.

4Make a GIF

A Graphics Interchange Format or GIF lets you express yourself in a jiffy. There are many GIF generators that can help you make a GIF in no time. Make a GIF of yourself saying I love you in your own way. An infinite loop of “I love you’s” will constantly remind him or her of how you feel.

5Bake a Bacon Bouquet

Who needs a bouquet of flowers when you can have a bouquet of hearty, meaty goodness? You’ll definitely get points for originality with this one. Bonus points if your partner loves bacon. How to make one? Take a strip of bacon and roll it up. Secure it with toothpicks so that it resembles a rosette. Bake those beauties in the oven for 20-30 minutes until crisp. Buy silk flowers from a store. Remove the silk petals until you only have the “stalks” left. Stick the bacon flowers onto the stalks to form a bacon bouquet. This is a guilty pleasure that will warm your bacon-lover’s heart.
