FWD Insurance introduces new benefits to enhance protection

Insurer's latest add-ons provide extra protection from unforeseen circumstances 2 September 2020, Manila, Philippines— Fast-growing insurer FWD Life Insurance Corporation (FWD Insurance), part of pan-Asian FWD Group, has strengthened its Set for Life variable unit-linked product proposition with the launch of a new set of add-ons tailor-made for people’s diverse lifestyles and evolving insurance needs.

FWD Insurance’s optional add-ons provide an extra layer of protection, addressing customers’ needs such as savings, or unexpected critical illnesses, hospitalization, or death.

Set for Life’s newest Add-ons include:

RecoveryPro provides an additional cash benefit for every day of hospital confinement, and an additional 100% of this daily benefit if the customer is admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU). It pays for any cause of confinement including COVID-19, provided confinement is necessary and not for screening and/or investigation.  

HealthPro Lite advances 20% of the major critical illness benefit amount upon diagnosis of minor critical illness. Customers can benefit from financial protection against illnesses as well as potential income from their cash investment.

SurePro for Owner waives premiums in case of critical illness, total and permanent disability, and death of the policy owner. It covers the basic, add-on, and regular top-up payments, if applicable.
